Whether it's blasting streets clear of litter, peer mentoring other young people, or working with older people to build bridges between generations, young people and children are some of the most passionate volunteers out there.

During February, which was Youth and Children Month, a wide range of events took place demonstrating the diversity of volunteering opportunities young people and children can get involved in. Often, young people and children can take the lead by designing and running their own innovative volunteer projects, rather than being told what projects to give their time to.
